MAGICAL MERMAID DANCE CAMP: AGES 3-9 YRS OLD | DATE: JUNE 26TH-29TH, 2023 | MONDAY - Thursday | 9:30 - 12:00 PM | COST $250

MAGICAL MERMAID DANCE CAMP is an underwater adventure with magical mermaid friends! Dancers will spend the week perfecting their tail flicking and catching sea horses and perform in a show that will take you to the bottom of the sea! They'll be so excited to meet a Magical Mermaid in person too! Camps include: – Daily Themed Dance Classes – Arts & Crafts including costumes – Story time – Music & Games – Mini Manicures & Face Painting – Movies – A show to perform at the end of the week! CHILDREN'S BALLET WORKSHOP | Ballet & Flexibility | Ages 7-12 yrs old

These students are on a beginning level of their ballet training. They have a vast concept of the ballet terminology and can execute the movements by name with physical structural accuracy. This class will enhance the flexibility, tone/ strengthen the muscles of the student to progress their technique as a dancer. TEEN BALLET WORKSHOP | Ballet & Flexibility | Ages 13+ YRS OLD

This open level teen class will enhance the flexibility, tone , strengthen the muscles of the student to progress their technique as a dancer. While strengthen their ballet technique. This 2 hour workshop will instill strong ballet foundations along with a craft. NOTE: You must create a portal to register.

BALLET FOUNDATIONS | AGES 3-6 YRS OLD

BALLET FOUNDATIONS: AGES 3-6 YRS OLD: 30 mins | DATE: JULY 18TH - AUG. 10th, 2023 | TUES. 5:00 - 5:30 PM | 4 CLASSES | COST: $60

Ballet Foundations: [3 - 6 yrs. old]: Students will enjoy expressing themselves through the art of ballet in this fun and interactive class. This class is built on the basic movements learned in the Creative Movement class but is still appropriate for the first-time dancer. At this level, students will learn ballet skills through imagination activities, movement games, and singing. Dancers will enjoy learning basic ballet terminology along with fun and engaging games. LIL KIDZ HIP-HOP | AGES 5-6 YRS OLD

Hip hop [Age 5 - 6yrs old] is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore, class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements. NOTE: You must create a portal to register.

PRE-TEEN/TEEN CREATIVE CONTEMPORARY WORKSHOP | AGES: 9+ YRS OLD

Wonderful opportunity for our students that are interested in dance to explore the art form. These students are on a beginning/ intermediate level of their training. They will explore and study the art of contemporary dance while develop a concrete dance foundation. During this class the students will focus on the physical exploration of dance through improvisation, uplifting and enhancing their confidence of themselves through the art of movement. CHILDREN'S HIP-HOP WORKSHOP | AGES: 7-11 YRS OLD

Unleashing your inner swag and step your game up here at River City in our CHILDREN'S HIP-HOP WORKSHOP! These students are interested in learning about the history and technique of hip-hop dance . They will explore and study the art of hip-hop dance while developing a greater concept of hip-hop techniques and styles. During this class the students will push their physicality through the art of choreography in our CHILDREN'S HIP-HOP WORKSHOP at River City! DAY CAMP | "Let's Shout!" DANCE CAMP | Ages 4 -11 yrs old

Inspired by the hit movies "SING" join us for a week filled of dancing, acting, singing, & crafts. Your child will experience a JazzFunk dance class which combines jazz and hip-hop styles together, developing acting & musical skills, along with crafting. Come and together we can be be bold, act out loud and SHOUT during River City's "Let's Shout" Dance Camp! NOTE: You must create a portal to register.

From Bon Air To Broadway! This week your child with explore the art of musical theater tap and acting at River City! Each day your child will learn about the Broadway shows, theater, & tap techniques, and showman ship! This 2 hour workshop will instill strong tap foundations along with a craft. TEEN/ADULT MUSICAL THEATER TAP WORKSHOP | Ages 14+ yrs old

From Bon Air To Broadway! This class will explore the art of musical theater tap and acting at River City! Dancing to some of your favorite broadway tunes, theater, & tap techniques, and showman ship! This 2 hour workshop will instill strong tap foundations along with a craft. DAY CAMP: TIKTOK DANCE CAMP | AGES: 7-13 YRS OLD

Learn your favorite influencers dances and create your own TikTok choreography. Students will rock out, have fun, improve coordination and stimulate their brains moving along to child-appropriate dance routines, music, and videos! This camp includes a craft with some great TikToc DIYs. NOTE: You must create a portal to register.
